Tim Trinh, O.D., F.A.A.O, received his Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry at UCLA in 2003 and a Doctorate in Optometry at UC Berkeley in 2007. He completed a residency in ocular disease at the Fresno Veterans Affairs Hospital in 2008 and is one of the few O.D.'s to have taken and passed the board examination for Advanced Competency in Medical Optometry.
Dr. Trinh was appointed a Fellow In The American Academy Of Optometry (FAAO) at the Academy’s annual meeting in San Francisco in 2010. It is an honor held by only ten percent of practicing optometrists. Founded in 1922, the Academy’s mission is to promote the art and science of vision care through lifelong learning. Academy Fellows are held to the highest ethical and professional standards of practice.
Dr. Trinh's practice emphasis is management of geriatric eye diseases, chronic dry eye therapies, post surgical specialty contact lens fittings, prosthetic corneal lenses for keratoconus and other corneal diseases. He lectures frequently in the optometric community providing doctors updates to the latest developments in eye disease management.
