Andy Kongsakul, O.D.
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Andy Kongsakul, a proud San Fernando Valley native, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and his Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry.

He served as an attending optometrist at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City, specializing in strabismus and pediatric eye care. Additionally, he is skilled in fitting custom lenses for myopia management in children, as well as for patients with keratoconus and corneal transplants, helping them achieve clearer vision and improved eye health
​
Beyond his private practices, he actively contributes to the optometric field as a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, San Fernando Valley Optometric Society, and Asian American Optometric Society. Dedicated to community service, Dr. Kongsakul has volunteered at the LACHC clinic in downtown LA, assisting the homeless population in Skid Row, and has participated in humanitarian missions with Unite for Sight, providing essential eye care to rural villages in Ghana.

When he's not working, Dr. Kongsakul enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, exploring new cuisines, attending concerts, traveling, snowboarding, and cheering on the Lakers
